Mingei series-

Moving to Japan in 1992 has led me to many interesting experiences. The simple objects, traditional packaging and folk art, and their history hold for me the essence of Japan.

I am constantly seeking to learn , more about the culture of the country in which I have chosen to live. The objects and their origin juxtaposed in contemporary society both intrigue and excite me. The mingei series is my interpretation and response to the enjoyment I derive.
